Established in 2009, Genmai Massage Therapy is owned and operated by husband and wife team, McKenzie and Jason Burleigh, LMT (Licensed Massage Therapists). McKenzie designed a serene private studio space where her clients could truly begin to rejuvenate and let their body begin to recover. In our one-room space, the office is designed to facilitate total relaxation by providing fresh sheets on a heavily padded, heated massage table.
Taking into consideration the mobility of all of our clients, (either those with short term movement difficulties, or long term physical limitations) our studio makes use of a hydraulic massage table. The hydraulic massage table slowly lowers and raises providing a safe and easy way to get on and off the table. The ability to adjust table height with the push of a button also makes it easier for the practitioner to be able to provide a number of different modalities that may otherwise be inaccessible.
For the sensory comfort of our clients who suffer from headaches or migraines, only a hypoallergenic lotion is used during the massage and neither McKenzie nor Jason wear perfume or cologne and we ask our clients to refrain from wearing any added fragrance to their session out of respect for those who suffer that may be arriving shortly after their session. The one exception is our signature 'Genmaicha' green tea hand lotion, please let Jason or McKenzie know before your session, if you do not desire this lotion/smell.
We choose not to sell any additional items at our business, and in doing so you will never be pressured for additional services or treatments during your massage session. We pride ourselves on simply providing Excellent Bodywork with Extraordinary Results!
