McKenzie Lee Carnes/Burleigh, LMT is a 2009 graduate of The Center of Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. Fresh out of school, McKenzie was honored to be a part of the Training Camp for the New York Giants in early 2009 (unfortunately their last year in Albany, New York). From August 2009 to May 2015, McKenzie enjoyed working along side talented chiropractors, physical therapists, and with professional athletes.
In the Spring of 2009, McKenzie excitedly opened her own private studio, Genmai Massage Therapy, in the lovely village of Voorheesville, New York. Her sister, Eden Carnes came up with the unique name over a cup of comforting genmaicha tea and dreaming of what could be of the future of the studio.
Fun note: McKenzie is so glad to have my husband's 'in-house' support going into her thirteenth year of being booked solid a year in advance! She's very humbled and grateful for all her loyal and amazing clients and hopes to continue to do her best for each and everyone of them!
McKenzie's unique massage therapy style is based on therapeutically effective Swedish Massage Therapy practices incorporating deep tissue modalities and intense therapy techniques using an intense myopathic focus that can truly help to support and encourage the body's own amazing ability to heal.
As a full-time Massage Therapist to a limited amount of clients, McKenzie holds select business hours and works only a few days a week. She isn't able to take new clients unless you are referred from an existing client at this time however is available for Genmai Massage Therapy's Signature Four-Hand Massage aka The Burleigh Bundle.
To keep her body in perfect massaging condition, she focuses daily on her own self-care and body wellness, McKenzie allows her body time to rejuvenate and recover between clients so that she can supply the very best Massage Therapy experience for you during your scheduled appointment.
Jason Scott Burleigh, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jason S. Burleigh, LMT is a 2018 graduate of The Center of Wellness School of Massage Therapy. Jason joined his wife, McKenzie, as a co-owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Genmai Massage Therapy in Voorheesville, New York.
Jason specializes in Swedish Massage Therapy with a heavy focus on Myofascial Release. His massage therapy approach incorporates the use of many other therapeutic modalities and powerful techniques best suited for the session based on the medical needs and comfort level of each of his clients, assessed at the beginning of the session.
To prepare for each Massage Therapy case, Jason listens and customizes each therapy treatment to the individual's health hopes and desires for the session and provides them with patience, warmth, healing, education on self-care during and after the massage. Jason firmly believes that Massage Therapy is a vital tool for the total wellbeing of the body and looks forward to helping you on your wellness journey.

In November 2018, Jason joined his wife, McKenzie as a full time Massage Therapist at Genmai Massage Therapy Studio in Voorheesville, New York.
To keep each of their certifications current under New York State law, they continue their education at the Red Pines Training Center in Colonie, New York.
Jason and McKenzie Lee have been married since June 2012 and live near the village of Voorheesville with their sugar glider, Baxter and Axolotl, Vermivore (latin for devourer of worms).
*Unfortunately we lost our female sugar glider, Una, September 2021. We were honored to have 10 years with her but will always miss her energy she greeted us with.
